To confirm that things work

Posting a small post to confirm that the following guide written by Peter on how to make Gnome Blogger work correctly.

What you have to do is the following (A short translation of Peters guide):

  • Blog Type : Self-Run Other
  • Blog Protocol : Blogger API
  • XML-RPC URL : http://beta.blogger.com/api

The user name and password fields you should be able to figure out on your own ;-)

Edit : It appears that the URL setting works fine also for the blogging tool Drivel. Although, now that I have got the chance to test them both, I must say that they both disappoint me.

Yes it does work, but sadly I agree with you: they are somewhat of a disappointment. If gnome-blog would work with the title-text (which is a minor adjustment) and the images, it would be ok though.

Blogs ar for pretentoious people that misstakenly assume that people actually give a shit. (When I start my own blog, things will ofcourse be different)

Get on with some updates, I'm bored at work!

>Peter : True that. If those two things would work there would be no complaints. It would be small and easy to use, but until then I stick with "Performancing".

>Staffan : True that too. My goal is to take up as of much of peoples time as possible with things that rally doesn't matter but you somehow read anyway.
